Time doesn’t exist yet it controls us anyway.
Howdy! I am Yash Salunkhe, a M.S student in the Department of Computer Science at Texas A&M University. I am primarily interested in Multimodal Learning, Theoretical and Mathematical Foundations of Deep Learning and Optimization. I work in the DL Fundamentals Lab under the guidance of Prof. Tomer Galanti. My work includes developing theoretical connections between supervised and self-supervised learning and validating these bounds empirically. In my free time, I play chess, video games, watch football(YNWA!! 🔴) and listen to some music.
Previously, I was an undergrad at IIT Bombay where I worked under Prof. Biplab Banerjee developing cross-modal image retrieval models using JEPA and Prof. Shyamprasad Karagadde extracting underlying governing equations in coupled moving boundary PDEs using PINNs.
